I really enjoyed this book. As a huge Wonder Woman fangirl, I really enjoyed reading and learning about all of the real life reasons for the themes displayed in Wonder Woman comics.This book talks about the suffragists and how Wonder Woman writer, William Moulton Marston, also the creator of the galvanic skin detector (which inspired the polygraph) was inspired to create Wonder Woman and her various allies, enemies, and plot lines. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested.

It was only a matter of time before I read this book. I am a huge Wonder Woman fangirl so honestly I am surprised I didn't read this sooner. So far this book is awesome. It doesn't focus on Wonder Woman as much as I thought it would but instead talks about her inspiration and the feminist movement, which is really interesting. It talks about the suffragists and how Wonder Woman writer, William Moulton Marston, also the creator of the galvanic skin detector (which inspired the polygraph) was inspired to create Wonder Woman and her various allies, enemies, and plot lines. This book has been great so far and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

Beauty Queens

I finished this book and like I said in my previous blog and like I said before this book is weird.  It's about a group of girls competing in the Miss Teen Dream pageant. While the girls are flying to shoot a promo their plane crashes on a deserted island where they are forced to figure out a way to survive. The story is told from the perspectives of the different beauty queens, discussing their personal challenges along with their methods of survival. This book was a fun read. It's kinda in your face about all of the issues we deal with in society and how bad people are, but to be honest it kinda works and you get sucked in. I would reccomend this book to any looking for a weird yet intreasting book.
