I really like this book. It is dark, but it very well written. It is about a girl named Melinda. It is her freshman year of high school, and she is struggling, her best class being art which is the only place she can find peace. She is a social outcast because she called the cops on a end of the year party, which resulted in some kids getting arrested. She is becomes quieter with time barely even speaking at all, until she is finally able to face what happened at the party that night. This book was great. It was extremely well written and was very emotional. I would recommend this to people in our class who are willing to read it, of course keeping in mind that it has some darker themes.
