Kill The Boy Band

This book... Is really weird. It feels like it was originally fanfiction but then slowly got lost in its own cynicism and became something completely different. With that said I still think its a really good book. The story centers around a fangirl (she never tells us her name and if she does nobody remembers it) and her three fellow fangirl friends. These girls are obsessed with a boy band called The Ruperts, and they decide to stay at the same hotel as the band in hopes of getting a glimpse of their favorite band. One thing leads to another and before they know what's going on, they have kidnapped the least popular member of The Ruperts and are holding him hostage in their hotel room. Like I said at the beginning this book is really strange, but that is why I recommend it. It can very funny at times and enjoys playing into its weird premise. It also has a lot of interesting commentary about pop culture and fandoms in general which I enjoy despite being a fangirl myself. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a dark but still funny book.
